Based in our Newcastle facility, we have a unique opportunity for a Service Manager within our Fixed Facilities department to be at the forefront of our operations, driving efficiencies and results across all facets of the branch.

This role will actively ensure we deliver our products and services on time to the customer for installations, inspection and testing of essential fire safety measures, and will require a mixture of time in the office, field and focusing on customer engagement.

• Experience in managing a fire service department
• Sound knowledge across relevant building codes and Australian Standards
• Understanding and knowledge of Fire Protection Systems and maintenance practices
• Strong people management skills
• Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team
• Experience with monthly forecasting & reporting
• Ability to manage targets for sales and profit
• Valid Australian drivers’ licence

We are currently seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join our close knit team based in Perth. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is mechanically minded and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

Training regarding our particular brand and range of fire systems will be provided whilst on the job.

• Fire Suppression Industry knowledge or basic understanding
• Experience within a role that entailed “out on the field” services
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment medical
• Valid Australian drivers’ license
• Trade Qualified – desirable, not essential 

We are currently seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join our close knit team based in Perth. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is mechanically minded and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

We have an opportunity for 2 x Service Technicians to join our team based in Wetherill Park. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with industry experience, or someone with a background in Mechanics, Auto Electrical or Fitting.

• Fire Suppression experience or equivalent trade knowledge
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding and knowledge of mechanical parts
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment medical
• Valid Australian drivers’ license
• Cert II in Fire Protection and Inspection desired but not essential

This field based role is an opportunity for on the job training with our dedicated Testing Team, and demonstrate the ability to learn from several technical Australian Standard documents and be able to put that knowledge into practice.

• Experience as a fire technician
• Ability to work well unsupervised
• A strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to think outside of the box
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including D&A
• Valid Australian drivers’ licence
• Experience within a previous role that entailed out on the field services – desirable, not essential

Demonstrating a positive attitude, you will have the opportunity to further diversify your experience by working across our various United Safety branded Fire Safety products and systems, whilst conducting essential fire safety routine servicing for our customers throughout the area.

• Have electrical trade qualification and NSW electrical contractor’s license – desirable
• Previous Fire suppression industry knowledge – desirable
• Experience within a role that entailed “out on the field” services
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Be able to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical
• Valid Australian drivers’ license
