The Role

  • Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment
  • Determine what action is required to get the machine operational and initiate the corrective action, which may involve repair or replacement
  • Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems

  • Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test, install and repair air-conditioning, pressurisers, filters and other assorted systems on various small & light vehicals
  • Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and handle administrative tasks like data entry and job scheduling.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading all types of vehicle’s electrical systems.
  • Diagnose, test and replace defective ignition, wiring, lightning, alternators, generators, voltage regulators, fuses, starter motors etc.
  • Work towards achieving KPI’s and targets.
  •  Maintaining WHS standards within the company including when working at external sites.
  •  Report any hazards, misconduct, impropriety or unsafe work practices to management.
  •  Use technical and research resources to ensure your technical knowledge is current and up to date.

This role will predominantly involve Inspection, Maintenance, and installation of emergency light systems and Fire detection and Warning systems throughout the region, with the occasional assisting our Newcastle team
